With major advances in digital audio and video, there is no reason to have a physical media player in the vehicle anymore. Music is instead streamed off of any mobile device supporting Bluetooth audio output. This allows anyone in the vehicle to stream audio to the amplifier and speakers wirelessly.
The vehicle’s internal hardware is capable of outputting 5.1 channel sound and pure digital audio. Only 2 channels of audio are currently used with a traditional 4 channel 300W Alpine amplifier connected to two Rockford Fosgate full-range 4″ speakers and two Infinity 1″ tweeters embedded in the dash.
